Villa Paroraia
Villa Paroraia is a guesthouse in the center of Tsepelovo in a restored 18th-century mansion. It opened its doors in May 2014 and consists of 6 rooms, all different but decorated under the same style. The guesthouse is named “Paroraia”, after the ancient name of the region of Zagoria villages which meant “the area behind the mountains.”
The external architecture of the guesthouse is loyal to the tradition of Zagoria. The stonework blends in with the streets of the village and also prepares the visitor for the interior, where it exudes luxury and glamor of the old area. The oak floors are facing either the ornate wooden ceilings of the living room or the unique paintings on the ceiling and dining room. Villa Paroraia is one of the few buildings in Zagoria decorated with ceiling paintings, which were widespread during the period of great prosperity of Zagori in the 17th century.
Villa Paroraia has 3 double and 3 triple comfortable rooms with possibility to satisfy the needs of families by joining rooms, creating a five bed self-catering apartment. In collaboration with Coco-Mat the visitors are provided with the opportunity to experience the Coco-Mat sleep with high quality mattresses, pillows and linens. This completes the pleasant stay and satisfies even the most demanding visitor.
